For some of the kids, you might be the only positive thing in their day and so I try to take the time to talk to them, ... I ask how their days went and whether they learned anything new in school.

He was going door-to-door looking for school crossing guards and went to my in-laws' house, ... They said they were too old, but told him to see me.

We know what can happen if they run that red light and a child is standing out there.

With these children getting hit and killed, it makes the dangers very real,
